Twitter hack again by phishing problem.

Thousands of Twitter users have seen their accounts hijacked after a viral phishing attack which sends out messages saying "this you??" or "hey, i've been having better sex and longer with this here" and other sex-related "direct" messages.

The invitation is spreading virally but it leads to identity theft and malware problem for anyone who clicked the link.

Some of the victims are the Press Complaints Commission, BBC correspondent Nick Higham and Matt Wells, Guardian's Head of Audio.

The purpose of the attack is to steal password and also to install malware at the user pc.  This is to steal valuable information such as password and other valuable data such as credit card information for financial gains. Since, most users will be using the same password for many websites.

Moral of the story don't use the same password for many websites, especially for your online banking service.
